SplayZoneAx
Intellectual Property Notice
Last updated: 14 October 2026
This page is for loudspeaker manufacturers, other companies, and anyone who believes material on splayzoneax.com or inside the SplayZoneAx app uses their rights. It should be read with the Terms of Service.
1. What the app actually contains
- Empty commercial library. Custom Speakers does not ship as a catalogue of real products. The user types technical values (for example sensitivity, power, dispersion, cabinet size, frequency range) so a planning calculation can run in that user’s venue.
- Generic drawings. Icons and 3D cabinets are shared shapes for a type of loudspeaker: line array, point source, subwoofer, stage monitor, cinema screen channel, and similar classes. They are not photographs or meshes of a named commercial box. Entered width, height, and depth change the size of the generic shape so a planner can see space. They do not restyle it into a brand.
- Private user data. A library entry, project label, chat message, or uploaded PDF belongs to the account that submitted it. Other customers cannot browse that library as a store. We do not submit user entries to manufacturers as a product listing.
- Optional AI assist. A user may send text or a PDF they hold so an assistant can suggest fields. A private cache may store the file name, a hash of the file, and the extracted numbers so the same document is not processed twice. That cache is not a public datasheet library. You may ask us to delete a specific cached extraction.
- Our own demo projects use generic examples so a new user can see the tools. They are not advertisements for a brand.
2. What this means for your brand
- We do not claim ownership of your trademarks, trade dress, logos, manuals, photos, or product designs.
- We do not state or imply that you sponsor, approve, certify, or are associated with SplayZoneAx.
- We do not warrant a user’s numbers. If a user typed a model name and a sensitivity figure, that pair is the user’s input. It is not a SplayZoneAx specification and it is not your official specification unless you published it and the user copied it for their own planning.
- You are not responsible for predictions a user makes in this app, and we do not ask the public to treat those predictions as your data.
- If something we published on this website (our own sentences, our logo, or a generic drawing) gives the impression of an affiliation, tell us the page address. We will review our own material.
3. How to send a notice
Email support@splayzoneax.com with the subject “Intellectual property notice”, or use Contact and choose that topic. A notice should include:
- Your name, the company you represent, your job title if you are an employee or agent, and a contact email.
- The right you rely on (for example a trademark registration, a copyright in a manual or image), and the country.
- A description that lets us find the material. User libraries are private, so include the account email if you know it, the project or speaker name, the file name, a screenshot, or the exact words. A general objection to “any mention of our brand” does not identify a location we can act on.
- The URL, if the material is on this website.
- Why you believe the use is unlawful, in a short statement.
- This sentence, or words that mean the same: “I have a good-faith belief that the use described is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law. The information in this notice is accurate, and I am authorised to act for the rights holder.”
- Your physical or electronic signature (a typed full name is enough).
We may remove or disable the reported entry, delete a cached extraction, or ask the account holder to change it. We may tell the user. We may suspend an account that repeats the same misuse. Removing material is a practical step. It is not an admission that the material was unlawful or that SplayZoneAx was the author of it.
If you do not control the right you describe, or the notice is knowingly false, you may be responsible for the loss that causes. Send notices only for rights you actually hold or represent.
4. What we need from users
Users may type publicly available technical facts as inputs to their own design, and they may store a document only when they have a lawful right to send it to us. Users may not upload confidential manufacturer files, pass the app off as your official tool, or attach artwork they have no right to store. Those duties are in the Terms of Service. A user who uploads infringing material is responsible for that material.
5. Our name and logo
The SplayZoneAx name, logo, and generic product drawings are ours. Please do not copy them for another product. You may refer to the app by its name in an ordinary factual sentence.
