SplayZoneAx is a planning aid. Read this page with the Terms of Service. It explains the limits of the numbers the app shows.

1. Estimates, not measurements

Coverage maps, SPL figures, STI indications, throw distances, overlap, and similar outputs are calculated from the geometry you draw and the specifications you enter, using the models in the app. They are estimates for design conversation and layout. They are not a substitute for measurement in the finished venue with suitable instruments.

Results change when the inputs change. A wrong sensitivity, a wrong aim, a missing surface, or an incomplete drawing produces a wrong picture. You check the inputs and you decide whether a design is fit to use.

2. Not professional advice

The app does not provide architectural, acoustic-consulting, structural, electrical, or legal advice. It does not certify that a design meets a building code, a noise ordinance, a venue licence, a union rule, or a client specification. For a show or an installation that needs a qualified sign-off, use a competent professional and the measurements they require.

3. Safety, rigging, and hearing

The app does not calculate whether a hang, a stand, a bumper, a cable, or a building element is safe. Weight, rigging hardware, electrical supply, and emergency communication are outside the app. Follow the equipment maker’s limits and the rules of the venue.

The loudness meter uses the phone or tablet microphone as a guide on that device. It is not a calibrated sound level meter and it is not a legal noise dosimeter. High sound levels can damage hearing. You are responsible for safe listening and for the levels you produce in a room.

4. Speaker data and brands

SplayZoneAx does not publish official datasheets and does not endorse any loudspeaker brand. Numbers in Custom Speakers are the user’s. An AI suggestion is a draft for the user to check against the source the user trusts. A manufacturer is not the author of a prediction made in this app, and a prediction is not that manufacturer’s warranty. Details for rights holders are on the Intellectual Property Notice.

5. Availability

The service can be interrupted for maintenance, a store outage, a network fault, or a fault in a provider we use. Keep your own copies of designs you cannot afford to lose. Exported files on your device are under your control.
